Playhouse is the tiny arcade of 1118000.xyz — a corner of the web that exists for one reason: the simple, old joy of messing about with toys. Fifteen machines hum in the arcade, a toybox sits by the window, and nothing here asks you for anything.
Hand-built, all of it
Every game here is written from scratch for this site — real rules, real scoring, real difficulty curves. No reskins, no embeds, no app-store detours.
Playful by default
Sound, motion and color are part of the design, not decoration. Every machine has its own world: chalkboard, candy parlor, CRT, nightclub floor.
Works offline
Once the page is loaded, the arcade runs without a network. High scores live on your device and nowhere else — there is no account, no server, no sync.
No strings attached
No ads, no tracking, no cookies beyond your own saved preferences and scores. It is just a fun little house on the web.
The colophon
Built as a static site — every page ships as plain HTML from the same tree, ready for any static host (it lives on Cloudflare Pages). The shell is Next.js with hand-rolled CSS; the games are React components; the sound is a tiny WebAudio synth so the whole arcade weighs less than a single photo. Typography is Bricolage Grotesque for the loud parts and Inter for the rest.
